In times of dynamic geopolitical shifts and growing security challenges, open dialogue on defense is more important than ever. That is why this week, representatives of the KOTRA Warsaw office took part in this year’s edition of Defence24 Days – the largest conference in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to security and defense, held on May 6–7 in Warsaw.

The event brought together many distinguished representatives of governments, armed forces, the defense industry, and experts from numerous countries. We had the honor of participating in a range of panel discussions addressing key issues related to both regional and global security. We paid particular attention to panels focused on the “Eastern Shield” initiative, aimed at strengthening Poland’s eastern border through the development of defense infrastructure.

We were also truly pleased to see such a strong presence of Korean companies, showcasing their cutting-edge technologies and defense solutions. Their participation highlights the growing importance of Korea–Poland cooperation in the field of security and the defense industry.

We extend our sincere congratulations to the organizers for delivering such a meaningful and well-executed event, and we look forward to the next edition with great anticipation.
